Care Data Exchange Partners offer Internet solutions that can be integrated into the Care Data Exchange peer-to-peer network, enabling a broader range of data-sharing capabilities. Each Care Data Exchange partner supplies applications that enable healthcare providers access to Care Data Exchange content and services.

A Note on Standards:The Care Data Exchange is compliant with the HL7 CCOW Standard, incorporating Patient Link and User Link capabilities. The CCOW standard establishes the basis for ensuring secure and consistent access to patient information from multiple, independently authored healthcare applications. Sentillion's Vergence™ Content Management solution automatically synchronizes CCOW-compliant applications at the desktop, dramatically simplifying access to data and providing caregivers with a more comprehensive, intuitive understanding of the paitent. Patient Link enables caregivers to select a patient in any application and all other applications synchronize to that patient. User Link enables caregivers to securely log on to all applications simultaneously by simply logging on once to the application the institution chooses for authenticating users.
