1: Care Management System - Advanced Query*

The
Advanced Query Training Workshop is designed to teach
Care Management System users how to get the most out
of the newest release of Care Management System -
Query. During the course, each participant will create
a Physician Profile, using data from their own facility.
After the course, users will be able to:
- Combine
data from multiple queries into one report
- Create
complex queries using sub-queries
- Create
variables from existing variables and use them in
reports
- Merge
data from the Care Management System and other applications
- Customize
report formats using advanced features.
Pre-requisites:
Care Management System licensed user; Completion of
Basic Query Training; working knowledge of SQL; extensive
experience with ad-hoc report creation.

2: Care Management System - Methods & Applications

This workshop is designed to provide a deeper understanding
of the Care Management System and the methods it uses.
Concrete applications and case studies will be discussed
to demonstrate the attributes of the system and reveal
its underlying model structures and statistical features.
The goal is to make the "black box" more transparent
and thereby to demonstrate creative ways to get more
value from the Care Management System. Although the
workshop is structured, the setting is informal and
active participation from attendees is encouraged.
